Bon Appetit! Toowoomba's Hamper & Wine Menu revealed...

With just over a month away it’s time to think all about your night of all things white. Have you planned your dining experience for the inaugural Diner En Blanc Toowoomba event?

If not, don’t worry as our wonderful food partner Fitzy’s has created a selection of delicious hand-crafted hampers.

The European-inspired hampers are perfect for two people and contain a selection of olives, cheeses, bread, cured meats, salad and dips and can be ordered from the Diner en Banc Toowoomba e-store when you purchase tickets to the event.

After all, what’s a celebratory evening without friendship, food and wine?

A great selection of alcohol will be on offer thanks to our national event partner Moet & Chandon, including1500ml Moet Imperial champagne magnums, 750ml Moet Chandon Ice that comes with or without two branded Moet wine goblets, as well as Chandon Brut and Rose, Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir, Cape Mentelle Chardonnay and Georgiana Sauvignon Blanc. Sparkling Antipodes water will also be available. All alcohol must be pre-purchased as this is a strictly licensed event. 

Celebrating the best of Toowoomba Region’s local produce, the proposed menus have been creatively designed by Fitzy’s Head Chef, Brendan Mullins and Sous Chef, Adam Pownall to excite taste buds and emotions through flavour, texture and presentation. Below is an detailed outline of what each delicious Parisian style hamper will contain...

Hamper 1 | Serves 2 | $70.00
  • Nicoise salad, butter beans, white anchovies, pickled red onion, beetroot leaves, quail eggs, heirloom cherry tomatoes, marinated olives & radish finished with red wine reduction
  • Green olive tapenade
  • Baguette with whipped herb butter
  • Sweet potato and cashew baba ganoush
  • Selection of Toni’s meats, venison salami, Italian fennel salami, pork kulen, prosciutto, 42 month aged cheddar, blue cheese, crisp breads, black grapes & marinated baby figs
Hamper 2 | Serves 2 | $90.00
  • Selection of Toni’s meats, venison salami, Italian fennel salami, pork kulen, proscuitto, 42 month aged cheddar, blue cheese, crisp breads, black grapes & marinated baby figs
  • Heirloom potato salad, red onion, chickpeas, maple roasted butternut pumpkin, black quinoa, quail egg, wholegrain mustard & herb vinaigrette
  • House smoked salmon, fennel and saffron relish, horseradish sumac creme
  • Kilcoy pork cheek, fig and pistachio terrine, pickled baby shallots, orange thyme & cognac marmalade
  • Duck and truffle wild mushroom pate with crisp toast
  • Black forest cake
  • Vanilla and salted caramel macarons


Hamper 3 (Vegetarian)| Serves 2 | $75.00
  • Smoked asparagus, new potatoes, butter beans, red onion, fresh herbs, preserved lemon, whole grain mustard & caramelized onion dressing
  • Dips and cheese - sweet potato and cashew baba ganoush, crisp bread, 42 month aged cheddar, blue cheese, black grapes & herb olive oil
  • Chickpea chips, black garlic aioli & herb salt
  • Stuffed baby bell peppers with slow roasted garlic & herb goat’s cheese
  • Sour dough crostini, heirloom tomato bruschetta, Persian fetta & micro basil
  • Manuka honey and vanilla whipped coconut yoghurt, pistachio & pomegranate white choc wafe
Hamper 4 (Deluxe) | Serves 2 | $105.00
  • Junee Victorian Lamb roulade, roasted apricot, rosemary, pine nut & sage stuffing accompanied with Cumberland sauce
  • Selection of Toni’s meats, venison salami, Italian fennel salami, pork kulen, proscuitto, 42 month aged cheddar, blue cheese, crisp breads, red grapes & marinated baby figs
  • Heirloom potato salad, butter beans, red onion, toasted chickpeas, radish, quail egg, herb & wholegrain mustard vinaigrette
